In the South of France, at the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon, at the Nord of the Gard, the Mas du Gentilhomme with its swimming pool and 20 hectares of green Oak trees in the "garrigue" (to find out more about what the French word "garrigue" means and what type of land it is please click here), the Mas du Gentilhomme offers you a series of gites (traditional South of France accommodation) and bed & breakfast accommodation of high quality. Our accommodation have kept the charms of the Midi (South of France) with a touch of true friendly hospitality.

Located between the Cévennes and Camargue, 15 kilometers from Anduze and Sommières, near Quissac (25km from Nîmes), in the small village of Orthoux, a typical village of the region of the Midi, with its exceptional natural surrounding with fields of wine grapes, olive trees and large oak forests.

The Mas Du Gentilhomme with its walls made of old thick stones and lime, its arcuate entry ways, built on a XIV century monastery, is surrounded by 20 hectares of garrigue and forest. The gites and bed & breakfast guest rooms have been completely renovated to meet the highest standards in hospitality.
